I’ve made this website as a resource for anyone interested in the Shimano Aerodynamics System, a collection of groupsets launched in 1981 through to 1984. This range introduced numerous design firsts that have made significant contributions to the design and function of cycling components.
To celebrate 100 years of Shimano, the company released the following promotional clip showing the Aero AX groupset in 1981.
